I would like to end off here saying that if you ever get the chance to do so, do check up with the national park closest to your home town and try to take part in the next Tiger Census. It's an experience of a lifetime. One that I highly recommend to any wildlife enthusiast.

I do wish however that the wildlife authorities, after having invited us to be a part of the census, should ask us for, and give some value to, our feedback once the entire operation is over.

There was some good news in the papers the other day which claimed that the poachers responsible for the tusker killings in Corbett Park have been caught and there is hope of now getting hold of the complete nexus behind the entire operation. I hope so! In that case, next time I'm in Corbett I can get back, without any silly whims, to my favourite pastime - taking photographs of those amazing giants!
