Eating Places

Dhikala Tourist Complex Restaurant : This restaurant offers a large variety of dishes to be chosen from. The menu however mostly consists of Indian dishes along with a couple of Chinese ones. The service at times does tend to be slow but courteous. The pricing is quite economical but is more expensive than the other option available at Dhikala itself.

Dhikala Canteen and Grocery Store : This is a favourite with many visitors to the park. The ambience is very nice in the outdoor seating area with it’s beautiful view. The food here is also very well made but people with weak stomachs should inform the waiter accordingly. A speciality of this place are the "aloo ka paranthas".

Bijrani Complex Restaurant: The restaurant here is well equipped and service here needs to be quite brisk to meet up with the flow of day visitors in the park. However, the wait for your food can at times be quite long. The menu is quite similar to that of the Dhikala restaurant.

Restaurant at Bijrani

The Gairal Forest Rest House Canteen: This is the latest addition of the three eating places in the park. It was opened in latter half of 1999. It offers a similar menu as the restaurant at Dhikala. The speciality here however is the "poori bhaji". This canteen is a very welcome addition to the visitors staying at Gairal, who now don’t have to travel almost the entire length of the park for a meal.
