Neighbourhood Trips around Pench

Due to Pench National Park being in the state of Madhya Pradesh, there is no dirth of Tiger reserves that one can also make trips to in the neighbourhood. The most famous of the lot are the national parks of Bandhavgarh and Kanha. It must however be noted that both these parks are located far enough to not be considered as day trips but instead as separate destinations during the trip. Kanha, the closer of the two is itself at a distance of 210 km from Pench. If planning to also visit these parks, the departure point from the area can be planned from Khajuraho, famous for its temples and stone carvings. Those interested in checking out the city life of the area can spend some time at Nagpur, before boarding their train or plane from there. Nagpur is famous across the globe for some of the best oranges available on the planet.
