Siddharth

Siddharth is the perfect outdoors man. He hates being in a big city and is always eager to get back to his more wild and natural surroundings. He has set up one of his two eco-resorts near Kaladungi, the famous residing place of Jim Corbett during his stay in India. His camp is also near what was once the location of the legendary "Bachelor or Powalgarh", arguably the largest tiger ever recorded. Unfortunately he was a man-eater and had to be shot by Jim Corbett. The second resort is at Pangot, which is higher up in the mountains and is one of the best areas for birding. Siddharth is an avid birder and has extensive knowledge on the subject, especially of the species found in the Garhwal and Kumaon regions.

Siddharth
Siddharth heads his own travel company called, "Blaze A Trail". He now has the enviable experience of leading fishing, birding and wildlife tours for over 10 years. Having lived all his life in the area of Garhwal and Kumaon, Siddharth has an excellent knowledge of the local people, their customs and the region in general. He has trekked extensively in this region, including the trails made famous in Corbett's books. He has an excellent understanding of nature and is a wildlife freak to the core. Besides all these excellent traits, he is also great company to have along on trips and expeditions - specially when he starts off-loading some of his treasure chest of stories from the wild.
