Corbett National Park
2 Nights/3 Days

The Jim Corbett National Park is famous for its sizeable tiger population and its impressive bird life. The other animals found in this 500 sq km game reserve include leopards, hog deer, barking deer and wild pigs.

Best time: Mid October through till mid April

Day 1 Delhi to Corbett National Park

Depart Delhi on the six -hour drive to Corbett National Park. Lunch after check in at lodge outside the Park. An evening bird watching walk in the outskirts of the National Park. Evening briefing on the surrounding forest and wildlife. Dinner and o/n at lodge.

Day 2 At Corbett National Park

An early morning jeep safari into the park. Breakfast on return. Morning at leisure. After lunch optional walk in the forest with a naturalist. Before dinner a short video film on the flora and fauna of the area. Dinner and o/n at the lodge.

Day 3 Drive to Delhi

An early morning elephant safari into the park. You get a totally different view of the forest from elephant backs. The wild animals by and large are not afraid of the elephants and the people sitting on the back are ignored allowing you to take a closer look at the wildlife. The elephants can also go through areas that the jeeps cannot go to thus increasing the chances of seeing wildlife.

After breakfast, drive back to Delhi.
