Introduction to Anshi

The Anshi National Park located in the North Kannada district of Karnataka was given a status of National Park in 1987 and has an area of 250 sq km, the Park was carved out of the Dandeli National Park. The nearest town of Dandeli is located 37.5 kilometers away from the park . The vegetation in the area is semi evergreen and evergreen forests.
