Library : There is an extremely well stocked library at Dhikala. It has a wide range of books on wildlife of all kinds and from all over the world. Books must be read at the library itself. The library also has excellent lists of books on specialized wildlife topics that can be purchased in the market. Special care should be taken while reading the books as some of them are classics that are no longer being printed.

Wildlife Movies : Wildlife movies are shown every evening in the outdoor theatre at Dhikala. The timings should be checked on arrival as they wary according to the season. Most of the films shown are based on animals in the park itself. There are times when the audience too consist of the park animals themselves, as once a sambar was seen watching a film on the capture of a maneater named "Dheetu".

Elephant bathing at Dhikala:It is an amazing sight to watch the ride elephants being bathed by their caretakers every afternoon before the evening rides. This daily spectacle takes place in the Ramganga river just below the "Dhikala Waterpump". This spot is located at the base of a path leading down from close to the local restaurant on the western extreme of the complex. It is quite intriguing to watch such huge animals obediently listen to and follow all the instructions given to them by a man so small in comparison.
