Internal Transportation
Mode for transportation within the park is restricted to vehicles. The tracks within the park are suitable to be used by sturdy cars too but it is preferable to use jeeps and other 4-wheel drive vehicles. It is possible to take in your own vehicle with the addition of a park guide. For those wanting to hire jeeps for rides within the main park, it can be done at the office in Sasan or from the local operators. For a ride into the Dewaliya area for the "Lion Show", seats should be reserved on the ride mini bus at the park authority head quarters at Sasan. The ideal mode of transport however is in the freedom of your own vehicle.
