Getting to Manas National Park

Getting to the park is not a problem at all as it is located 3 hours from the main gateway to the entire state at Guwahati. There are road and rail connections from Guwahati to Barpeta Road, which is 41km from the main park. The ideal way to get to the park from Barpeta Road is in your own transport, but if required vehicles, preferably 4-wheel drives, can be hired locally.
