Accommodation Facilities at Mudumalai

There is quite a large variety of accommodation facilities to chose from in the park but it is still not sufficient to cater to the inflow demand of visiting tourists. Therefore, it is advisable to make your reservations well in advance. There are rooms and dormitories available to suit all kinds of budgets and tastes. Some of the Forest Rest Houses at Madumalai are located at excellent spots in the jungle and evenings here, sitting in your verandah, can provide some of the most pleasurable feelings you could experience with nature. The rest of the accommodations are located at Masinagudi and Theppakkadu. Other than the Forest Rest Houses, the other accommodation facilities available are Bamboo Banks Guest House, Blue Valley Resort, Jungle Huts, Monarch Safari Park Resort, Mountain Lodge and the TTDC Youth Hostel.

Catering facilities are also quite well developed at the park.
