Getting to Mudumalai

Getting there: Getting to Madumalai National Park is not a difficult proposition due to the main highway, connecting Mysore to Ooty, running right through the centre of it. Other than traveling in there in your own transport or in hired taxis from the neighbouring towns of Mysore, Bangalore and Ooty, excellent connections by bus are also an available alternative. There are regular bus connections from Mysore, dropping you directly to the park reception center and to some of the other important locations like Masinagudi. Getting to any the above three mentioned neighbouring towns is not a problem as they are all extremely well connected with the rest of the country by surface and air transport.
