Communication facilities at times can become a problem at Pench National Park. Go there with the intention of getting away from the hectic chaos of life. Enjoy the bliss of not hearing phones ring every two minutes. For emergency purposes however, some of the resorts do have telephones. In many cases, although these numbers can be given beforehand for receiving outstation calls, outgoing outstation call facilities are not available.

For the absolutely desperate, a 13km drive is required to the small town of Khwasa, located at the main Jabalpur to Nagpur highway. This is the turn off point for the park and has a public booth offering STD, ISD and FAX facilities. The functioning of these facilities however, can not be guaranteed at all times. It is important to note that mobile phones, even with roaming facilities, stop catching any signal beyond Mansar on the highway from Nagpur. This is approximately 51 km from the park entrance at Turiya.
