Mohit jumped off the vehicle at the sight of these horses grazing at a height of 4500m above sea level, just short of the Kunzum pass. The life these horses added to the otherwise totally uninhabited and inhospitable area is what caught Mohit's attention

These are what Mohit calls really smart dogs. Along this extremely busy street in the city of Leh, they choose to always sleep in front of the no parking sign where they know they will not be disturbed by vehicles

This is a lovely photograph which makes a person want to sit for ages and study the expressions. The inclusion of the monks in the background adds to the flavour and colour of the snap. These young girls barely eight years old themselves, an age when most children are used to getting taken care of, are given the charge of taking complete care of the little ones.
