The
Vianayak is a property of the Rajasthan Tourism Department. It is
a relatively recent addition to their older property in the
area, the Jhoomar Baori. It is located on the park's approach road.
The rooms at the Vinayak are comfortable and airy.
It has a large dining hall and excellent lawns all
around. The rooms come with an option of air-conditioned and air-cooled.
The resort has its own satellite dish to keep you up to date
with the latest happenings in the world.

Starting
with the season of 2001, a branch of the park office
will be located here and all entrance fees etc. can be paid
at the resort itself. This office will also stock material
regarding tourist information required by visitors. The
Vinayak boasts of an excellent kitchen serving delicious meals
and snacks. The tea there is almost considered a speciality.

All communication facilities are available at
the resort and all calls can be made from the comfort of your room.
The terrace of the resort offers a breathtaking
view of the hills bordering the Ranthambore National park to the
west.

as camel rides and folk dances etc.
