Tour to Kaziranga National Park

Nov.01 - Apr.2002

Day 01 Arrive in time for lunch (i.e. guests leaving Guwahati early or arriving from Jorhat airport early). The safari is in either central or western range. Overnight stay in Wild Grass Resort.

Day 02 After breakfast either: (A) Safari in western range followed by lunch and then safari in central range (B) Safari in either of those two ranges followed by safari in eastern range.(If elephant ride facility is still afforded by park authorities, then please note that elephant ride timing are AM 1st ride: 0530 hr. to 0630 hr. & 2nd ride: 0630 hr. to 0730 hr.). Wake up call half hour before ride.

Day 03 Nature trek in Panbari Forest Reserve before breakfast search for rare Hoolock Gibbon (only ape in India) and Hornbills (for bird watchers or hard-core wild-lifers pax can stay longer) followed by tribal village visit or tea garden visit. Afternoon safari in western range.

Day 04 Drive to onward destination in the morning.

Cost includes only
· The rates are on three-night stay basis and include accommodation on full board in standard rooms, taxes, jeep rides (on sharing basis), tribal village and tea garden visits only.
· Elephant rides will be given only if available (at an extra cost).
· The stay can be increased on pro-rata basis.
· On triple sharing basis, the third person or a child between 5 yr. and 12 yr. will be provided an extra bed.
· One child below 5 yr. will be free (extra bed will not be provided).
· To & fro transportation can be arranged at an extra cost.

Cost does not include
Extra meals & beverages, personal or incidental expenses, camera fee, extra safaris, tips, phone calls & laundry etc.
