Tour to Sunderbans National Park

Day 01 Departure from Kolkata to Basanti port by car (3 ½ hr.). Cruise to Sajnekhali by a dedicated motorised launch (2 ½ hr.). Overnight in the launch. Dinner & night stay on the boat.

Day 02 Full day cruise through mangrove creeks to Sudhanyakhali watchtower, Netidhopani watchtower, Pirkhali, Garikhali for birding & wildlife viewing. Lunch on boat. Anchor at Sajnekhali by sunset. Dinner & night stay on the boat.

Day 03 Morning visit in cycle rickshaws to Rangabela Tagore Society to see the rural development project. Return to Basanti by the afternoon. Transfer to Kolkata by car.

The cost includes
Accommodation on 1 twin sharing room and 2 single rooms on the launch.
· Cruise through the mangroves by a special dedicated motor boat.
· All three meals a day (ex-Kolkata and back).
· An English-speaking escort and a nature guide.
· All entrance fee & permit charges.
· To & fro transfer from Kolkata and back by an air-conditioned car.
· The stay can be increased on pro-rata basis.
