Tour of Corbett National Park

November 15 to June 2002

Day 01 Arrive at Tiger Camp by noon. After lunch, drive onward to Dhikala tourism zone. This is a jeep safari through the dense Sal jungle. A great opportunity for viewing wildlife, especially the tiger in its natural habitat. Arrive at the main tourist complex, Dhikala - check in. Visit one of the best wildlife libraries of India. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 02 Morning elephant safari through the open chaurs (grasslands). Return for breakfast. Lunch and rest. Option of spending the afternoon on a watchtower overlooking a water hole. Jeep safari on a track along the periphery of the core area. Return to the to tourist complex. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 03 Drive to Tiger Camp after breakfast. Arrive Tiger Camp for lunch. Drive to onward destination OR drive to Lal Kuan (80 km / 2 hr.) station to connect overnight train to Agra OR drive to 'Jungle Lore' Lodge at Pangot (80 km / 3-hr.).

Min. 2 paying persons: US $ 165 per person

Cost includes
· Accommodation on twin sharing basis in 'B' class accommodation within the park on full board.
· In case of three persons, the third person will be given an extra bed.
· A naturalist-driven dedicated jeep for the park visit. Elephnat ride, entrance fee (excl. camera fee).

Cost does not include
Extra meals & beverages, personal or incidental expenses, camera fee, tips, phone calls & laundry, etc.
