Nepal and Bhutan Short Package

Day 01 Fly Delhi-Kathmandu (2 hr.) at noon. Arrive Kathmandu and transfer to the hotel. Guided tour of Kathmandu City. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 02 Morning visit Swayambhunath stupa, Durbar square, Basantpur square, Kumari temple etc. Post lunch guided tour of Patan city visiting the king's old palace, hindu temples and a Buddhist golden temple. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 03 Connect morning flight to Chitwan National Park. Check-in at the lodge. Afternoon elephant safari at Royal Chitwan Park for nature watch. Overnight at a wildlife lodge at Chitwan National Park.

Day 04 Early morning park visit on an elephant. Return for lunch. In the afternoon, set out for bird watching in the canoes. In the evening, a stick dance of the local people is organised. Overnight at a wildlife lodge at Chitwan National Park.

Day 05 Drive to Pokhra 'the valley of lakes' stopping enroute for river rafting (optional). Pokhra valley is scenic and exciting. It is covered by green hills, lakes, forests, rivers, water falls & terraced gardens. Rest of the day at leisure or a boat ride on Lake Phewa. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 06 Fly to Kathmandu in the morning. Guided tour of Pashupatinath temple, Boudhnath stupa and Bhaktapur city. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 07 Transfer to the airport to connect flight to Delhi or Paro. Arrive the next destination.
