Contributions are welcome. We would like visitors to participate in our efforts to promote wildlife and adventure related activities. Due credit is given to all contributors. Given below is a list of what you can contribute, the list is by no means exhaustive but aims to give you an idea of what you may send to us. If you have any further ideas on what might improve the content of this site, drop in a line in the suggestion box.

In Text / HTML / Word Documents

We are seriously short of information on adventure sports so any help is forthcoming. We would also like articles on conservation and nature, articles on wildlife photography, wildlife tourism. Any kind of information pertaining to the wildlife reserves of the South Asian subcontinent.

Photographs, Illustrations, Audio and Video content on Wildlife and Adventure sports.

Preferred formats for photographs are JPEG, Illustrations may be sent as JPEG or GIF images.
You may send us slides or prints as well.

Video may be sent as MPEG or as VHS/Beta tapes. Audio may be sent in any form.
(Do not send files over 1MB by mail as these are blocked and are sure to bounce back - Inform us beforehand if the file size is large, we will send you instructions on how to upload the file to our site.)

In case of content provided to us in hard copy. This may be returned to you, provided you leave specific instructions to this effect. Although proper care is taken at all times, we are not responsible for any damage caused to material sent by you during dispatch, handling or processing.

What we would like from you when you submit the article

1. Contact information. You must include the following: Your mailing address, phone numbers, and fax number and e-mail address. None of this will be printed in the article except for your e-mail address.
2. Author Biography. Put your author biography at the end. Keep it brief.
3. Handling Instructions for any material provided on a returnable basis.
4. Please spell-check your article before submitting it.
5. Articles submitted in electronic form should preferably be sent as a zipped archive (using PKZIP, WINZIP, or a similar program.)

Important

Whatever you contribute should be your original work. All material, prose, photographs, audio or video content must be original and must be owned by you. We may occasionally reprint book excerpts, but this is an exception made only in the case of book reviews. It is the writer's responsibility to inform wildlywise.com of any copyright issues when the article is submitted.

We reserve the right to edit content sent by you. Apart from correcting grammatical and spelling oversights we also edit content to improve its readability. Refer to the style guide to get an idea of how we prefer content to be written and formatted.
